Engineering quality. Exploring intelligence. Building trust.
Mhahesh Muraleedhara is an enterprise Quality Intelligence leader focused on how Quality Engineering must evolve for an AI-shaped software economy.
From running quality programs to questioning what quality should become next.
My work sits across enterprise Quality Engineering, AI-led QE, AI assurance and Quality Intelligence. The common thread is simple: quality must help engineering leaders make better decisions—not merely produce more test-execution evidence.
The QE Alchemist is my thought-leadership platform for exploring that transition publicly: the ideas that work, the experiments that fail, and the operating models that may define the next chapter of enterprise quality.
Quality is an engineering discipline
Quality cannot be inspected into a system at the end. It has to influence architecture, requirements, code, data, delivery and operations.
Evidence over assertion
Confidence should be traceable. A release position is stronger when the organization can show what evidence supports it and where uncertainty remains.
Automation executes. Intelligence decides.
Automation is indispensable, but the higher-order problem is deciding what deserves attention, which evidence is missing and what risk matters most.
Trust is the new quality bar
As systems become probabilistic and agentic, quality must broaden beyond deterministic correctness to include reliability, provenance, evaluation, and governed autonomy.
The ideas also live in books.
Mhahesh is the author of a three-book QE Alchemist series spanning the practitioner shift to Agentic Quality, the AI-era career transition, and the leadership operating model required to build an agentic quality function.
